The time has come for another Working Group Pulse Check.
This is when the VRML Review Board takes stock of what's going on with the
working groups. Please discuss the following items with your groups and
report back to the VRB (vrb@vrml.org) by Friday July 10th, 1998. Groups
that do not respond by the 10th will be assumed to be inactive and will be
dissolved.
- Is this group still active?
- Who are the chairs and co-chairs of this group? (Please list e-mail
addresses)
- Approximately how many people are currently involved?
- What is the level of activity in the group?
- Have you had any face to face meetings since the last pulse check?
- Do you have any meetings planned for the future?
- What projects are you currently working on?
- What products are you planning on delivering?
- When do you plan on delivering these products?
- Are there likely to be any Intellectual Property issues with any of your
products?
- Please identify other groups whose work you feel is closely related to
yours or where there is a strong overlap, and whether or not any direct
cooperation is occurring.
- Please list (succinctly) any significant issues that are currently
impeding progress in your group.
